Videos, emails, social networks, messages, information, according to the moderator’s blog we spend on average 5h01 per day on our smartphone. With the Covid-19 outbreak, hygiene precautions are more than ever at the center of our concerns.
A study published on March 16 by the American Institutes of Health indicates that the virus would last several hours on the surfaces of everyday life.
It is therefore better to take the time to clean your smartphone regularly but how to ensure that it is well cleaned and especially without damaging it?
First of all, even if the new phone models are waterproof, do not run them under water with soap.
Also, do not spray directly on your device to prevent moisture from entering the phone and promote the appearance of other bacteria.
Our tips for cleaning your smartphone
Unplug it and turn it off then remove its protective shell (which will also have to be cleaned).
Take a clean cloth or wipe and do not use too abrasive product. Exit household products such as bleach or aerosols for example. Favor a solution without alcohol or based on 70% isopropyl alcohol or simply Marseille soap.
You can use window cleaner on your smartphone if it consists of tempered glass (which is for example the case of the iPhone 11, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, the Sony Xperia 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 10).

Lightly moisten your cloth with one of its products and a little water then gently clean your device avoiding the openings: jack port, charger connection port, microphone and speakers (even if it is waterproof). Then repeat with a cloth moistened with clear water.
Wait until your smartphone is completely dry before turning it back on. And repeat frequently.
Do not forget to clean your protective shell with the same method.
